Why does Teddy talk with Leonard over the phone about Sammy?
In the B&W scenes, it seems the main intent of the phone call is to get Leonard to talk about Sammy. Yeah, I know that the conversation also leads to them meeting up, but is he just having him tell the story again to see if he continues to tell the fabricated version? Or is there something more to it?
I know it helps us as audience members to get exposition to Sammy's story (or at least the version that Leonard tells), but within the film itself I don't really see the leap.
