"momento" is not a word. memento is correct.

Hey I still remembered this movie as Momento.

That only means you read it wrong for the first time as well. "Memento" *is* a correct title, referring to the Latin expression "Memento mori", which is also the title of a short story the movie was based on.

It's a common mistake, like alot instead of a lot or "old timer's" instead of Alzheimer's.
