i just think that hes *beep* in the head

reply

then he kisses her

that just shows hes messed up

reply

They way i thought about it was that Peaches dad saw her as an unspoiled flower which was all that was left of his wife since she passed away. The only thing that reminded him of her. And he intended to keep it that way.

Until he walked in on her and her boyfriend ofc. Then he did the only thing he could to keep her away from that kind of stuff, and that was holy matremony. (spelling?)

i saw it as a way of him just wanting to have sex with her.

i saw it as him realising that she looked alot like his wife/her mother, and he wants her back, so he goes for the next best thing. Peaches.

reply

just a scene to make the movie more "outrageous".

lucio is the name of a type of fish in spanish. Did you know that?

reply

Her dad looked at her like his wife, because they were Identical, so he was so obssesed with his death wife, that het married peaches .

reply

Agreed, and I think he *beep* her and messed her up even more, thats why she ends up going around *beep* everybody

I watch a lot of movies, all kinds and this was the first time I ever felt like I was going to throw up! Really got me sick to my stomach. That's religious fanatics for you.

If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?

It was just goofy ol' Larry Clark, "pushing that envelope" again.
Wow, what a rebel. He's SOOO outrageous and clever!
I guess he just had to make sure that there wasn't one, single normal, empathetic or sympathetic character in the entire film (well, maybe Rhonda's husband).
Okay, Larry, I get it. You're one effed up dude. But maybe next time, you could work out your issues with your therapist, rather than subjecting your viewers to this boring, meandering, pointless, uninteresting piece of borderline-pedophilia that lacked anything resembling plot or character development.
Off to take another shower now...
