Claude Phone Scene

That scene was sopposed to make you think, since you couldn't hear the other person talking with claude you didn't know if it was a guy or a girl, my theory is that he was bisexual....

1. he's talking on the phone he says "Let's not talk about tomorrow lets talk about tonight, you should come over"

then he says "COME ON ***MAN***, YOU AIN'T GOTTA LIE TO ME" also that he is pulling his hair and later his dad does it too.

2. says "ok ill bring some" (meaning dope) - most likely a guy that wants to get high

3. Has he hangs up he says "alright ***DUDE***"

I think all that supports my theory that he's bisexual... BUT he said that they would see eachother the next day or something like that so it could've been Peaches.

Or maybe....

He was just simply referring to getting high tonight with his buddies. "Let's talk about tonight." does not mean that he wants to have sex (although it could, since the movie has LOTS of it.), he could simply just be trying to make plans for that evening.

sounds like many of the conversations I have heard when people are trying to find someone to smoke out with them. It would not surprise me if he and Shawn fooled around though.

could have been a 3way call with peaches and the other guy.

I'm not sure, but if he was bisexual, wouldn't there have been some interaction between the two boys in the final sex scene? Instead it was all around the woman.

i don't think claude was bi or gay. man is just a part of his dialect. i know tons of guys that use the term "man" even when they are talking to a woman. it's a habit. i'm not saying it's acceptable...but it happens.

and plently of women get high with guys. it's not just a male thing.

not to mention, he used her name. robin.

What makes you think the name 'Robin' Is exclusively female? It's a man's name as well.

So therefore your argument that he's not bi or gay is weak and pointless. NONE of us will know. But the fact that he said "man" and "dude" helps the theory that it was a man that he was speaking too.

Exactly! Not to mention the assortment of subtle signs throughout film up until that point, that most def could be interpreted as such. I was under that impression b4 getting to the phone scene, but I'm also not a person that thinks sexually is a narrow specific amongst humans(or animals). Or should I say I'm not the type that would say (w/ quick certainty) "Nahh, no way dat doods(a)gay. I worked wit him/went to school w/ him" whatever etc etc. Much like the respondees aboves typecast answers, who give me the impression of such manner of thinking. Swinging at the fences to assure such ideas are not true,(as if negative connotation would apply otherwise) an that its not wat u think, "he's Normal". The latter being the imperative solitary message being stressed. Was gonna list the examples but im sure the above is futile in itself, considering how old (jus noticed)this thread is, and by now all of u (excluding papyrus) have had some boy playtime with "A" Gay or "A" Bisexual wether on da "DL" or in ur uncle's shed ("yo dat *beep* my uncle showed us, dat aint gay") and might have a more articulate argument. But even watching a movie w/ sum focus could help educated argument anywhere. But yo "its hard to focus if u a "straight" dood w/ all 3 of the dick scenes, dat have a total of 3mins (4 if u hit slow mo) the 1st w/ black pubes appearing @ 1h 3m, then da next... my fav... uh ah I mean..." ya I watched da movie, but "No homo" yo

** contemplating this reply (that will never be read) I think even the most liberal politcally correct person might be thinking "shut up *beep* by the end, an rightful so,maybe. douchy might just infected in the binary of this board (excluding patient zero above) I'd still like to think my failure at least sounded better
