Why didnt Tony tell Bricktop that Boris set up robbing the Bookies?

During the movie we find out after Bullet Tooth Tony asks Mullet who robbed Bricktops bookies that it was two Black guys that worked out of a pawn shop on smiths street, now Vincent and Sol never were shown telling Bricktop that Boris The Bullet Dodger hired them to rob Bricktop's bookies.

But Tony found out when he and Avi questioned Vincent and Sol, that it was Borris that hired them, because Boris wanted the diamond that Frankie had, the robbery was only to hide that fact.

Odd how Tony and Avi never went to see Bricktop to tell him about Boris being responsible for the robbery because he hired Vincent and Sol to rob Bricktop's bookies for him, Then Bricktop would just send Errol and his men to visit Boris and Bricktop would get the diamond.

That would put Bricktop into contact with Doug and Bricktop would be the one to sell him the diamond, Bricktop would still get killed by Mickey and his friends later though.

But i thought it didnt make sense for Tony not to approach Bricktop and tell him about Boris being involved with the robbery of his bookies, let Bricktop and Boris have a meeting and Boris gets fed to the pigs.

You're assuming that Bricktop ruled the roost all over London. It's clear he answers to those 'suits' at the boxing events and if we assume Boris was in the Russian mob then there's no way he was pissing in that pool. It's quite possible BT has little power outside the people who work for him and small fish like Sol and Vincent who have no affiliations.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!
