Why does Doug The Head call Bullet ToothTony a liability?

After the twin daughters of Doug The Head mention Tony and we see the flashback to the 1980s where Tony kills that guy after being shot several times we know how tough Bullet Tooth Tony really is, then Cosuin Avi wants to use Tony to find Frankie Four Fingers.

But Doug does not approve of this decision and says that Tony is a liability , there was no evidence of this at all, he subdues and captures Boris, intimidates Mullet into giving up the information, locates and forces Sol and Vincent to tell him what to happened etc, even shows a dangerous but reasonable side.

And in a deleted scene Tony and Bricktop knew each other but were not on good terms because Tony had killed Errol's cousin Lorrie, so Tony was familiar with Bricktop but not on good terms with him and his crew.

What makes Doug not like Tony or want him to help find Frankie? Seems like Tony solved their problem only to have fate intervene and he got killed on accident by Avi, Doug was stupid to not want to use him.

I never noticed that before. I can't figure it out, either.

Maybe he costs too much money? Maybe he could go psychotic and we don't see it?

You're right - it's an odd line that doesn't get explained. Unless there is an explanation and I just need to watch Snatch again...

Tony doesn't do anything subtly( as shown in the movie) which is not how doug wanted to find the stone/frankie.

That's how I saw it. Doug might not have turned an honest pound but he had a thriving legitimate business even supplying to fashion shows, I doubt intimidation and killing were part of his work ethic. Tony's profile might have been a bit too loud just to find a missing person.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!
