Eww, why did the daughter choose the ugliest dress?

In the dress shopping scene I was so upset that she did not choose that black dress (the one where the scarf got wrapped around her face). Honestly, I was thinking "No! Don't put that one away!"

As a female, I'm shocked by your hurtful comment about another female's physical appearance. Shame that women have to tear each other down. Would you like it if someone said that about you? Surely you can do better.

I didn't think any of the dresses were pretty, tbh. They were all hideous, imo.

I know, right? Hideous. Literally ANY of the other dresses would have been better. My wife disagrees and insists the other dresses were too "old" for her. For me, I liked either of the black dresses as well. The one she picked fit her like a satin gunney-sack.

She's 15 years old and going to a prom. The color should be something young and bright, not old person black.
