Who was Nelson Minkler? Not who played him, but just, who was he? The name sounds familliar but I don't remember who he was.

he was an old friend of Ren's who moved back into town in the second season and recurred in some episodes, he later disappeared and Monique was Ren's second friend (the first being Ruby who appeared with both Nelson and Monique)
