does anyone see the similarities with boy meets world? minus the dramatic aspect, but many of the situations and characters are so close.

the curly haired kid with the ladies' man best friend with the feathered hair.
the weird female friend with the underlying romantic feelings...

i thought about it a lot, but never really said anything to anyone until i just re-watched the bed and breakfast episode. like when cory held something similar in feeny's house.

haha yes. i was thinking a few months ago on how similar louis and twitty was to cory and shawn. yeah alot of it is alike. I loved both shows though. two great shows to hit disney

It's funny. I've thought of the exact same similarities before that you described. I also kind of see it as a more silly version of The Wonder Years.

It's a pretty big stretch because

a) both shows have a rather generic concept (BMW didn't exactly invent the teen sitcom)

b) the characters are only superficially similar (Topanga and Tawny are 'weird' in completely different ways, for example. And aside from the hair Cory and Louis
are nothing alike).

c) stylistically both shows were much different. BMW was a multi-camera studio audience sitcom with huge soap opera elements later on, Even Stevens a single camera comedy with a more surreal bent.
