He was hilarious as the little brother on this show, hilarious! but then he started worming his way into movies and was so super annoying in Indiana jones 4.

shareI didn't mind him in Holes, but after Even Stevens was done, he got annoying. What I couldn't understand is all the hype that was around him from about 2006 on. A lot of people (or at least a lot of people I knew) thought he was a really great actor in Disturbia, Indiana Jones, Transformers, etc.
Anyway, I thought he was great in Even Stevens and had really good, natural comedic timing. Maybe dramatic roles are just not for him? I don't know.

My feelings about him (and the show in general) were mostly neutral at the time they were shown. I did find "Even Stevens" more entertaining than some of the other shows, but only just. I found Ren's relationship with the school principal creepy and unrealistic, though Louis was sort of funny. My brother had a crush on Louis' female friend. Louis actually kind of reminded me of a young Ace Ventura, minus the crazy hair and relationship with animals. He even dressed like the guy!
