Glad I watched it.

I had never heard of this film until mid-2009. Being the Apollo buff that I am, I figured that I'd need to get a hold of it. So I did. But it sat on the shelf for almost two months simply because I'm so used to all these documentaries and docudramas about Apollo. Figuring that something as grand as Apollo deserves a serious production, I wasn't sure that I'd enjoy watching it.

So I finally got around to watching the movie. Loved every minute of it! Now, of course, I realize various parts were fabricated for dramatic and comedic effect, but that's really beside the point when it captured the spirit of the events.

Great movie; would definitely watch it again.

I'm so glad you liked it! It's definitely become one of my very favorite movies, one I can watch over and over again without getting tired of it.

I hope you took the time to check out all the extras on the DVD.
There's heaps of great archival footage.
