What happened to the cat?

I know we saw one scene where Griffin had the cat after he killed Ellie. What I was wondering was what happened after that? Was it in the building that blew up? Or did he let it go? That was the only part that upset about the movie. Isn't that shallow? I care more for the cat than the person! Well, I'm a cat lover. What do you expect?

reply

Real impressive, Molly... You care more about cat than person! Just kidding... I think that the cat in this film had the same destiny as the dog in Gladiator: the screenwriters forgot about them!

I know, I know. I'm a *****. Sorry. :(

You know what thought would happen to the cat,the first time you see keanu(drool) with it, i thought he would break it's neck , now i love cats and if that happened i would . . . . . . . . . . . .i have no idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The cat probably died where he left it unless it managed to get out, in which case it probably lived on the streets as a stray.

In a later scene, one of the ones where he's talking to Joel on the phone, you can see that he's holding and petting the cat. So... he kept it.

why have all the msgs been deleted by the...ppl

I wonder too poor kitty. He probably kept it, maybe. Maybe's the kind of psycho who enjoyed killing ppl rather than animals. Then again who knows. But probaby he kept it as someone stated he was seen petting it as he was talking on the phone with Joel.

I thought it was the cat's blood on the card that David shewed Joel in the cemetary after he had taken Polly prisoner. (He said it wasn't Polly's blood.)

Are you people serious??? OMG lol

The cat went back to the animal trainers trailer to live its cushy life making movies that people with no brain cells working think are REAL.
And by the way, there were TWO cats used for filming those scenes.

Wake up and smell the flowers people Sheesh.
It's no wonder this world is in the shape its in. People have no working brain cells any more.

Well, actually we're all talking about the movie storyline - we know damn well that the acting cat (or cats) went back to the trailer in the same way that Keanu Reeves got out of the water, washed off his make-up, got his cheque and went on to make his next movie.

We were just wondering what happened to the cat in the storyline - that OK with you?

I agree with you about caring about cats. I hate seeing them hurt or die worse than anything in shows, including dogs.
As far as those deleted by the admin. I bet those were sick cat hater posts. Cats seem to evoke very strong emotions in people. They either totally hate them or totally love them. Sure there are those that are indifferent, but as a whole, there seems to be more people that care very strongly one way or the other, even more than dogs. I was asking my husband the other day, why that was. I even searched the internet for the answer. I got no difinitive answers that satisfied me properly. Just now my cat came up, like he knew I was writing about him. They're funny critters...

I love all animals, everything from Hippos, dogs and cats, snakes - BUT - I have had cats and I have had dogs - I can tell you from experience, research - just plain observation - the cat is coming up to you now, to steal body heat from you and to absorb whatever heat it can sense is being given by the computer.
Just a fact. :)

It reappeared... "Whoa, deja vu."

A lot of serial killers started by abusing animals.

*spoiler*

If you watch the ending closely, you can see a small ball of fire moving rapidly around the floor of the burning building. That's the cat.

reply

So he killed the cat?
