Looked like a TV movie of the week from the 80's.

I agree that this movie was weak. It looked like a TV movie more than anything. I didnt think Keanu Reeves was convincing as a baddie. It just didnt work on so many levels.

Exactly if i didnt knew this was released in theaters i was going to thing it was a tv movie. Looks really cheap and have very bad style.
shareI just watched this for the first time and the biggest problem for me that that it was just such a run of the mill thriller. There were no big revelations and Spader's character seemed to have a lot of problems but there was nothing that really came out of them. This is one of those movies that I will pick up a year from now and won't be able to remember if I watched it or not. The definition of mediocre.

Yeah, totally agree: looked and came off as a TV-movie. Too bad, the premise was good.
