okay when earl was i nthat dark cell he cuts a vain leaks the blood to his chinese food then whipes *beep* on it and eats it and rubs it on himself i didnt get that but it was a awesome movie!

Chinese food? Looked like oatmeal to me, since it was breakfast. Anyway, whatever food it was, that's what he was eating out of the toilet. He mixed in his coffee to make it brown so it would look like *beep*. He ate it and smeared blood on himself to appear crazy so the guards would let him out of the hole.
shareYou are right in your description of what he did, but not the reason why... He did it because he was going to be transferred to another prison and he couldn't face going to a new place, he felt comfortable where he was and he was aware that the other prison didn't have a psychiatrist, therefore he acted crazy so they couldn't transfer him.

its also the fact that explains that no one had ever escaped from the other prison but a handful had in the past decade alone from his, therefore acting crazy warranted some psych evaluation thus he couldnt be moved to a prison with no psychiatrist
