Jackie Brown was De Niro's last good film.

maybe he's established himself, he's made his fortunes, now he's just having fun?

maybe he took Chief Sunday's role because he hardly ever gets military roles, and wanted to give it a shot?

I always thought he did a good job on this movie. And it was a good movie as well.
