Alternate Ending
Just saw it on FX. Glad they didn't do it, BUT
did it actually happen or was Sunday a completely fictionalized character anyway?
Just saw the same thing. Sunday was complete fiction, a combination of officers Carl met through his real-life career.
In other words, Steven Segal is too strong for you and you give up.

The alternate ending is that Sunday and his wife are driving along and some kids are freaking out near a bridge because thier friend is trapped in the current. Sunday dives in to try and rescue the boy but it's too strong of an undertow and then we're at his funeral. Cuba's character looks older so we know that some time has past since the trial - anyway - he leaves his father's A.S.N.F. radio next to the grave marker.
Yeah, I thought it was a lame alternate ending. I'm glad they didn't do it either.
shareit wasnt the strong current that killed sunday. it was the pressure at depth on his lungs after having apulmonary embolism and his lungs couldnt handle the pressure and shut down. its never a good thing to get bent seen it happen to a fellow diver it wassnt pretty. your blood turns to foam and there ain much you can do about it but get you in the pot as soon as but even then your chances of coming out are slim at best. givin the way he bounce dived he was lucky.
sharewould have liked to have seen that ending, fact ir fiction.
