Does anybody know about how many shots were fired in this film?

A friend of mine used to watch two shots in Reservoir Dogs repeatedly, in slo-mo, to count the rounds Mr Pink fired at those cops on the corner. For a while, this would happen every time I went to his house. Yes, he is a gun-loving mental :D
If there's ever a decent DVD release of this film, perhaps they should have a subtitle track that shows the bullet count.
Or perhaps not.
