I think she was justified.
If you do the right thing, as a rule, you shouldn't have to worry about a 'spy' who is making sure there is minimal abuse of power in the precinct.
She was blackmailed by the B888rd at the top, who put her in that position.
Yes, Faith's court situation was bad but not entirely of Monroe's making. Faith's personal life was in a bad way at the time because of her unsupportive husband. And the way Faith was treated was appalling considering how many murderers get away; the other cops treated her SO disrespectfully in court..
Finally , I thought it was DISGRACEFUL that in a life and death situation the other cops did not come to her aid, god bless Finney for being tolerant.
