Is easily in my top 10. I don't know why but it makes me laugh every time I see it. Definitely a favorite for me and I'm a self-proclaimed movie aficionado. Anyone else?

I just finished watching it (again) on TBS. I still haven't gotten around to buying the dvd yet, but it's one of the handful of movies I will always watch if it's on television.

I love this movie! Each time I see it, it always cracks me up. I keep meaning to get it on DVD but always forget.

Thank goodness for cable - it's been playing this month on Cinemax & its various networks.

It is on my top 10 list - I just love this movie. Really funny characters - and Keanu looks great in it.

Spot on. It was everything I want in a sports movie. Heart, comedy, a love interest, and the underdogs win the big game.

Easily in my top 10.

Logey, did you go and raid the Brokeback Mountain boards about how bad it was? I bet not, my money is on you being a Woody Allen fan with a stick up your a$$. The Replacements is funny as hell, everytime it's on I end up watching it and laughing all the way through. Good times indeed! Like when Logey watches his marathon of Ernest movies.

Me too. And I have no idea why since I'm most definately NOT a fan of sports movies by and large. But for some reason this one makes my list and I will watch it every time it's on TV.

It was on again last night (I noticed that they edited it very badly for the shortened runtime...annoying, but off topic), and I suddenly realized that I think it might be the cinematography and mood music during the games that I'm drawn to. People might overlook it if they say "It's just a football film", but if you're paying attention, the cinematography and mood music are extremely well done (far more than your average football film) for building mood.

i love this movie, i guess i just think it's fun and i go along for the ride - while fully acknowledging that it's not deep, it's fairly linear and formulaic, and more than that, i detest American football, but i still watch it every time it's on.
