Resident Evil/Biohazard Movie

I always found the first movie to be too different from the premise of the original game. There is still "gold" in this series. The RE1 story lends itself very well to a "mystery mood" movie, and a leading cast by Tim Daly as Redfield would be great. Anyone else want to try to come up with a screenplay for the thing?

Exacly! The excuse perhaps the filmmakers have is that i would maybe be boring to follow caracters in a house in a entire movie.

They think they know what they doing, or have just not learn enough about filmmaking or/and the thing they work with.

Dawn of the Dead ´78 is the best movie ever.

They did the movie to late, the movie takes things from the two first games atleast. And make it as a regular actionmovie.
The game is exelent and a good horror - game. But the sequels are as much action. Thats the reason (And ofcourse bad vision/following from the director)
the movie is not as good it could have bien.

The story is gold, abselutely. The idea is one from a master,
and Shinjis vision of terror is one of the best ever.
In my opinion it haves a small reliogius undertone within the pussles.
Cool thing.
To bad i dont know who Tim Daly is.

Dawn of the Dead ´78 is the best movie ever.

I always thought as an idea from myself personally that using that ambient save room music while, in a scene in an RE1 movie, Rebecca could be healing Chris in one of the save rooms and Chris is only vaguely making out the image of Rebecca because he is wounded creating this dream-like state scene. Just could be one of the more intimate scenes in the movie(wouldn't be many just...enough). Also at the end Chris could be up on the rooftop and the Tyrant breaks into the top of the helicopter pad, however, there are large amounts of dust deposits and all you see is the silhouette of the Tyrant slowly walking towards Chris. Just a few ideas that could be implemented with CGI fairly easiy. Tim Daly for Chris would be great, but for Wesker and Barry and Jill, I just don't know.
