Barry missing?

At the beginning of the game (I'm playing Jill's scenario, this might have something to do with it), the narration says that Barry is missing, but when the game begins, it's Chris, not Barry, who's gone. Is this some kind of error having to do with the localization?

I'm on my way, I'm making it/I've got to make it show, yeah/So much larger than life

The narration is made by Chris and is a reference to his scenario where Barry is missing (and never seen or heard from again!). I dont know why they would still have this for Jill's scenario.
