How did they get the second car?

When the first car breaks down they go to the store to see about the car part and they then go to woods after that. They are then redeemed, and it cuts the sheriff holding the hairnet while the dog finds the can of Dapper Dan. It then cuts to the three of them inside another car or possibly the same car, but I don't believe it's ever explained how they got it. Can anyone clarify.

Everett said that they were going to sell the watch he stole from Cousin Walsh and buy a car with the proceeds. That's what happened but we didn't see that part.
