Um... so this is a spoof musical, right?

Because the songs were um-tarded. If it was supposed to be a spoof musical like The Simpsons Movie or Walk the Line Tenacious D, I could get it, but the way people were dressed and the way they talk, it was almost like the movie was supposed to be a comedy but they didn't know when to make it serious for the music.

Also, i wanted to chomp the loser, because he was a limp-dick

Some people are stupid and some people act stupid.

You sound immature and not very well-read. The music is all American folk music and much of it was the basis for American blues, country and rock and roll. Some of the music is newer and some of it is original American roots music from the time period depicted in the film.

A lot of people love the soundtrack and it was a bestseller. If you're not embarrassed by your comment now, you probably will be one day.

reply

Well I'll be a hoot and a a holler at an ol' jambaroo, who gives a *beep* about this kind of music? Preservationists? I say we take every old American recording, smoke it up like tribal ganja. *puff puff pass* who, me? I like African chant, you don't have to record that kind of music because it comes from the nipple of the scrotum.

reply

Do you really think anybody cares about your taste in music? (or lack thereof).

At least now we know what kind of stupid YOU are.

reply

If anyone gives a crap what you think. Let's get tribal in here, I'll be the tim-tim and you'll be the bass.

reply

Meth is rotting your brain. You're making less sense with each post.

reply

I've got a left hook and two right hooks that say you don't know what you're talking about. I know how to get tribal because I've done the business. Now do you want to talk about this movie or do you want to get out of here?

reply

When did you start talking about the movie?

Wtf? Whatever it is you're attempting to say is illegible. Your sh*t talking is royally misplaced, and your word formations, and sentence structures look like what would come out of a dyslexic persons mouth, if they were reading out loud.

This should be obvious, but in case you didn't know, that "good stuff" you're snorting and smoking, is causing major damage to your brain. It's a wonder you were even able to power on your device, let alone find Imdb and leave a comment.

I'd rather listen to the music in this film than your whining and crying. You're a child. Children don't understand that taste and opinion differs from person to person and that one's taste is no better than the others. I hope I've helped you to grow and get a little smarter.

reply

Okay, you're hypnotized by the basest minstrel show antics in history and I'M the child? The music portrayed in this movie is one notch BELOW the similar antics of Bozo the Clown, or someone in black face singing "Eenie Meenie Miney Mo". The worst part is... it's not even a guilty pleasure for you, you actually think it's a measure of class, and look down on others who are not "refined" enough to get it.

reply

Yes, you are the child. Just re-read your posts.

I like African chant ...
I think the OP has left the building and returned to Africa to work on his chanting, praise the lord.🐭

reply

The music was great. I bought the album.

reply

I bought the album twice! Lol

reply

Oh you mean the soundtrack that won a grammy? Yea, such horrible music.

reply

Yeah..the soundtrack won a Grammy and won Country Music awards for best album and single. The album was still in the charts over a year after the film had gone from cinemas...so yeah..everything points to you being correct and the millions of people who bought the soundtrack are wrong.

Jeez what a douche!

reply

No, the songs are real. Pretty typical music for the time....you're seriously that ignorant?

Chase: Wow. Yeah, I get it. House is adorable. I just want to hold him and never let go.

reply

This is the most incomprehensible post I think I've ever seen on IMDB

The Simpsons Movie and Walk the Line are "spoof musicals"? What in the actual hell are you talking about?
