The weak link in this series
The acting. To begin with, Browder is so limited it's (almost) funny. His idea of intensity is to just talk louder/scream louder/over act/rant and/or recite his lines in a stupid sing-songy fashion. It's annoying, to say the least. Similarly, Simcoe and Edgley are almost totally one dimensional, whether it's the way their lines are written/directed, or whether it's their limited acting range, or both. And Hardy's character isn't much better. These characters are, unfortunately, more like cartoon caricatures, a problem I've seen with a lot of TV shows. Add to that the disjointed sequence of episodes, the dropping of major story arcs, the ripping off of other shows/movies, and you have: Farscape. This show is very very uneven and totally sub par. And it's NOT just the first season. (IMO, of course.)
Love isn't what you say or how you feel, it's what you do. (The Last Kiss)
