You can probably leave off "good" altogether.

I just don't know how thick one has to be to like this sort of thing earnestly. Slurp up the mythic BS if you must, but at least know that it's a guilty pleasure and you're watching some very tired tropes and cliches' covered in a thick syrup of pure pablum.

Seriously, if you watch this film and think to yourself, "My, that was quite wonderful. Storytelling at its finest, I do say!" --Well, I weep for your soul. This movie is about as sophisticated as an anal wart.

It's poorly acted, scored (John Williams, wth??), written (oh, dear god, the dialog), and directed. The only impressive thing it has going for it is the costume design and cinematography.

Honestly, how does one get caught up in a narrative this blatantly ridiculous? (aside from getting baked) This is a serious question. If you like this, do you truly not see how pandering and simple it all is?

Gah. I need to go watch a truly patriotic film like "Casablanca" to rinse my brain of this insult of a movie.
