'you stole a car that wasn't on the list'

I really hope someone can explain this to me because for some reason.. i've never been able to understand what they are getting at when the pizza guy in the bunny suit steals a car that wasn't on the list..

one of the guys says "maybe it's cause no one would be stupid enough to steal this car"..

when i was younger.. i always thought it was some kind of set up.. cops leave heroin in a car.. someone steals it and they can then pin drugs on them too..

OR did pizza guy in a bunny suit steal a drug dealers car?

Every car they steal brings more heat on the team. Stealing cars that aren't on their client's list is not only a waste of time, but could get them all busted for no reason. Simple as that. An unnecessary risk in a high stakes game.

because its a drug dealers car and anyone from the neighbourhood knows if they get caught stealing it he will kill them?

They didn't know there were drugs in the car when he said that. Like the guy above you said, stealing a car brings heat from the cops. Because the car isn't on the list it is a waste of time, also as the guy said above you.

They DID know that there were drugs in the car when he said that.

No they didn't. They found out that there was drugs when they opened the trunk and that was well after he said the line, which he said pretty much as soon as the guy said he stole it.
