VHS tape, deleted scene*spoilers*

The deleted scene where Paltrow's character finds out that Affleck is the one who gave up his seat so her husband could take an earlier flight should have been left in the movie. This was a powerful scene, and we need to see when this happens. The director said he left it was because it was too emotional or hard, but we need to see her reaction. The point of the movie is that the Affleck character feels bad that he didn't take that flight he was supposed to, and this resulted in the death of Paltrow's husband. He feels guilty after the fact, so he meets, then romances the Paltrow character. Anyway, glad they actually shot that scene and let us see it. This would have been a stronger movie if they kept it in. Passable movie, though not great.
