amazing

i thought it was amazing when buddy and abby got into a fight(she had seen the video with her deceased husband)...
when buddy started crying..omfg...it was so..REAL..and if you watch this movie on DVD with the commentary..ben and the director were like*after this scene...ben had to take a break or something..it was hard for him..he got really emotional*..or something like that...

i think in this movie..ben was phenomenal...just breathtaking...

but then there was Gigli..OH GOD..thats another story...=[

Just watched the movie Bravo. I hate most Ben Affleck films, but I hate the crescendo of crap he's been getting ever since Gigli. Probably only Tom Cruise has more haters (and the guy's not even a womanizing alcoholic). Anyway, Affleck was OK. I thought the tape revelation was done all wrong. Perhaps the filmmakers were looking to be unconventional (w/Paltrow watching it off screen), but what they put in just didn't work for me at all.

I gave it two out of five on my Netflix queue. It had a couple of charming moments and characters: Paltrow with the toilet paper was touching. I liked the humor of smoking to stop chewing gum. And the gay secretary (Jason whatever) did a nice of taking no S and speaking his mind. He was unconventional but still real (not a stereotypically "fabulous" gay, or a sycophant underling).

You know, I think Ben Affleck got a bad wrap after the whole "Bennifer" thing and Gigli. He's always been a good actor - particularly good, IMO, at the lovesick / loving and nurturing emotions. He shows his emotions on his face very well. I think there are very few actors that have such emotion on their faces as Ben Affleck does. Bounce was a great example of it.
