Why would she have left that video in the VCR for her boys to see ? It's not as if it wasn't a possibility they would see it. Gimme a break. She could have done better keeping them out of certain things .
shareShe was most probably extremely shocked to discover that her current lover had a connection to her dead husband and father of her kids. Imagine how you'd feel. Maybe she felt sick and had to rush to the bathroom to throw up.
After all those emotions had ravaged her heart and mind, she might have not been able to think ahead that much to hide the tape.
I don't know... I can see how she might accidentally leave the video out (maybe) but I kind of think her break up was pretty harsh on the kids. Telling them to go to their room, then yelling at them to come out and making him say goodbye, threatening to tell them Who He Was as if he was Voldermort or something. I would be devestated in her position too, but would probably try to leave the kids out of it.
