What happens in the last 10 minutes??
I saw this movie a couple of weeks ago on tv but for some reason I didn't catch the last 10 minutes or so... How does the movie end?!
Please help :)
What part did you get up to? Anyway, Buddy has to testify in court about trading his ticket with the husband. Buddy is practically crucified on the stand, and the last shot of the movie is Abby and her children, playing cops and robbers or something like that around their house. Then, it cuts to Buddy, laying in bed with some woman--was it Jennifer Gray--and drinking a bottle of gin or something. Very depressing but I don't see how it could have ended any other way. Any questions?

I think I got to the part where buddy is packing up his things or something and abby comes to see him, but I'm not sure if I saw anything after that. I recall that buddy went to abbys house and scott was sitting outside and they talked but I don't know if that was before or after...

Wait, that's not the ending I saw. I taped it off of TV a couple nights ago and watched it yesterday. The last scene I saw was Paltrow coming to his place while they were packing up, and they had a similar conversation to when they first met, and you could see that they were gonna try to make it work between them. Then it shows them walking out of his place onto the beach hand in hand. Am I crazy for not remembering what you said, or did something get cut because it was on TV?

Yes, Buddy did end up in the sack with Jennifer Grey & a bottle of gin (I thought it was Night Train, but I was wrong).
But, when he awoke sober and super hungover the next morning, he rolled over and said "What the hell happened to your nose, Baby, and why are you in the corner? Nobody puts Baby in the corner!"
Then they did what looked like a very choreographed dance bit naked, Ben tickled her armpit, Jennifer giggled & said something about having the time of her life, and it was over.
No No, remember the Affleck character hadn't packed up his chain saw and he was able to corner Abby with it in the bathroom...
