David Lynch plagiarism?

This wasn't a bad movie. Nor was it great. But all in all an okay evenings worth of easy entertainment.

There was one scene, however, that bothered me. When the Benny threatens Leo, he plays Roy Orbison and acts all psychopatic, forcing Leo to sing along. To me, it's sort of ripped off from David Lynch's "Blue Velvet", where Dennis Hopper's character Frank weeps when he hears "In Dreams", also with Roy Orbison.

Anyone agree? Or disagree?

Yeah, I thought they did a pretty weak job with that character, trying to make him a 'cool' villain and ripping off Blue Velvet that way.

"Lens cap."
