I see Donald Burgett is in that video collage. And Jim "Peewee" Martin. Martin recently jumped from a plane, a tandem jump, with a parachute.

I was there. It was a great weekend. And yes, you would not believe how cold Bastogne is in December.

reply

QUICK...tell us who was there!

Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?

I didn't get to properly see everyone since I was only at two events, but the people I did see were James Madio, Rick Gomez, Shane Taylor, Nicholas Aaron, George Calil, Ben Caplan, Philip Barantini, Robin Laing, Ross McCall, Douglas Spain and Dale Dye. I think Bart Ruspoli might have been there too but not sure.

Dale Dye is just as impressive in real life, giving plenty of great speeches and even leading the guys in an impromptu cadence at one point.

Seeing those foxholes in the Bois Jacques was a sobering experience.

I actually know James Madio, we're close in age and from the same neighborhood... he posted a great photo from the event of himself and Tom Hanks on his personal FB page... also, Douglas Spain (Tony Garcia) tagged him in a few that were awesome. Nice to see so many of the cast together again. Bart Ruspoli was indeed in the photos I saw, as was Doug Allen (Alton More).

The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.

Madio has a good face for playing a 40's, 50's - era character, a kind of vintage face, can't really explain it. Many young guys just have a 'modern' look about their faces and bodies and aren't convicing looking playing WW 2 era guys.

They're making a big WW 2 movie over here in my country, it's a bit stupid seeing that they will use some tv stars in it from game shows etc. Not convincing.
