Why has this show suddenly become so highly rated.
What happened that made this show become a 9.6 all of a sudden?

shareOh yeah, i tho dat as well. I remember a year ago or something, Breaking Bad was the no.1 rated of all times and GoT was the 2nd.
you remember wrong.
Band of brother rating has been 9.6 for more than ten years.
In my opinion it's rated to low..I don't hand out ten very often. But this is an 11..should be shown in history classes.
shareEasily the greatest miniseries ever created. Wife and I watch the entire series every memorial day weekend. Have been doing this for 10 years now :)
shareAmen to that, I'm watching all day long.
Its a wonderful tribute to those who gave so much for us and who sacrificed their youth without protest.
The youth of today could take a lesson from them.
I think if you showed Dick Winters what colleges are like now, something he and many of his ilk got to go to through the GI Bill, earned with their blood, pain, and tears, I think he'd die all over again, RIP. And I say this as a freaking liberal.
shareAgree 100% and I'm a (social issues) liberal too.
Our nation's colleges and universities are in a sad state, and its all because of far left ideologues and their identity politics. Maybe Donald Trump is a reaction against all of this? Me thinks so.
I'm not even that big of a fan of war or history and I completely agree this is a 10/10 all day long. You feel for all the characters and what they went through and the action scenes are recreated as if you are right there beside them even though you are in the comfort of your living room. These real life soldiers and this show are simply amazing.
shareagree with johnnythec
shareYou say it like it is a bad thing Barkonian...should be high than 9.6 to me
Friends don't let friends drink and post.
Because it is brilliant. Great storytelling, acting, direction, fast paced and emotional. The best mini series ever. Everyone should watch this, The men who fought in WWII are the true heros of this world. Its not LeBron James and other sports stars who will do anything for a buck. Its the men who served the world when necessity called for it.
Lawrence of Arbia, he was an English guy who came to fight the Turkish
I don't know about it being "all of a sudden" but I think it safe to attribute the score to people watching the mini-series. :)
shareI gave it 9/10, because it's an excellent piece of work, portraying 'The Lad Next Door' - in this case, the American lad - who believes that if he just 'soldiers on', looks after his mates and fights for what he thinks is right, he might just overcome and get back home.
It is a great portrayal of what it means to be a 'Brother in Arms'.
So, if I have given it 9/10 and I'm British, the Americans have, obviously, lapped it up. Because, as we all know, they won the war.
This is just a part of zionistic, cultural marxist propaganda in favor of NWO agenda. This show has nothing to do with reality or the things that happened in the 30–40s during the wartime. This series is 100 % FICTION and SEMI-FICTION – nothing more.
shareIt's a story told by the men that lived it..made by Spielberg and hanks as a reminder of what was fought for. Your freedom to drink pabst blue and play stink finger with your cousin. People like you make me sick...I'm going out on a limb but you gotta be American trash. Merrrrrrica...your what's wrong with it!
shareinterested to hear how you came up with that. I am sure some things have been embellished for TV viewing..but I would sooner trust a reputed author, historian and biographer...than someone pushing an agenda on IMDB
