If you look really closely in the scene where the paramedics are over Roger and Michael's bodies one paramedic has his hands on the leg which Michael was shot in and applying direct pressure on it. Call me crazy but you dont do that on someone unless they are still alive so Michael indeed did survive his attack. Hugo is *beep* now.

Well, according to the play, he should stay alive.

And I never thought Hugo would get away with it. What I think is that he's satisfied because now everybody will know about him and talk about him and he's done something quite memorable.

Michael didnt die so Hugo will probably get life in prison cause mike knows what happened.
