Othello as the villain


That's what he is here, and what an interesting and badly dark perspective: a rapist and a vengeful creep. Basically, a lot of horrible men in this. The original Othello went insane, but he was not an abuser or a creep.

The original Othello called his wife ugly names, hit her, organized the murder of a man and strangled his wife with his bare hands. If that isn't an abuser and a creep . . .

Othello did hit Desdemona (in public no less with people around them) in the original play. Did he rape her like Odin did? Nope. But he was an abuser as well.
