he was just a damn fool anyway
O was the biggest fool that I have seen in a long time.
shareI remember reading "Othello" in high school and feeling very sorry for Othello and the way Iago manipulated him into believing that Desdemona was cheating on him.
I didn't feel like it was Othello's fault at all and I felt like the entire situation was just a total tragedy.
Although after watching "O" Odin came off as extremely unlikable to me. I didn't feel the least bit sympathetic or sorry for his character and felt like he got what he deserved in the end.
Although he was manipulated and his actions were motivated by Hugo's lies; I felt like he completely over-reacted to the information Hugo was giving him.
Something went wrong in this adaptation if I found the villain to be more misunderstood and sympathetic than the supposed victim that was "O."

In some ways I can see why you would say that O was a fool. However, he was young and a bit out of his element. Hugo knew all of this and used it to his advantage. O let his guard down thinking he would be safe in this 'upper-class' environment. Had he been on the streets he probably would never have let someone like Hugo play him out like that. A lot of people think that because certain other people have money and live a certain lifestyle that they don't have the same insecurities that less fortunate people do. Not true at all; in some ways it's worse with wealthy people.
shareAgreed.
"I'm the ultimate badass, you do NOT wanna f-ck wit me!"Hudson,Aliens😬
I can never pity someone who murders.
Anyone who can be manipulated to actually commit murder is a freaking psycho.
How many people actual ARE cheated on by their partner? How many kill them? Only the psychos.
Define "opinion" then get back to me.
