Great modern adaptation of Shakespeare


I'm surprised at how well the original play was translated to modern times here with all the major plot points right down to the handkerchief. I guess it's just further testament how Shakespeare's work was universal.

I guess my one issue (and it's not a complaint) is that they gave Iago/Hugo a definitive motivation whereas in the original play it's ambiguous and keeps on shifting.

Yes, they put the movie together very well.
