Hi,

I used to watch this show as a kid but I don't rememberr much. In fact, the only episode I remember is one where I think the unicorn ponies disappeared if they used their powers, and were caught somewhere. I remember there was a unicorn called "Buttons". Could somebody help?

i think its called the return of tambalon (no idea how to spell it) and it's about this wierd creature with ram horns who tries to take over pony land and banish them to some other realm. the unicorns get caputured first when they try to wink out.

This was hands down the best episode of the series, next to 'Bright Lights'. The other four parters were kind of tame compared to this one.

There was one episode where the ponies were like gypsies.. and they were at a carnival or something.. there was something evil there. Is that the same episode or a different one?

Different episode. The one you described was called 'Sonambula' from Season 2.

Yeah, this was easily the best story / episodes in the entire series, would have been cooler if it was 6 or 8 parts though!

They have made MLP it's own full half hour show with 65 whole episodes instead of 33. Who knows what they could have come up with if 'Return of Tambelon' had been a five part mini series?
