Surreal childhood memory/question

I very, very distinctly remember seeing this episode as a child. I remember very little about it, other than it ended with the ponies in a rocky/mountainous area, possibly hiding/seeking shelter in a dilapidated wooden shack. The 'cliffhanger' at the end was them opening the door and seeing a monster (it looked rather similar to the 80s dungeons-and-dragons depiction of a "Leucrotta")- as it charged them, the screen froze and "to be continued" was displayed. This is all I remember- was this an actual part of the show, or is this just a bit of childhood memory embellishment over time? Any help would be appreciated!

TThe only episode that I can recall something like this happening was during 'The End of Flutter Valley', I forget which part, but it might have been part six or so, where one of the Flutter Ponies and Buzz (a side character) attempt to find Megan over the rainbow, and accidentally open a bullpen, at which point it charges and the episode ends.

They don't put people like us in hell, we'd only end up running the place.

Looks like I might have indeed simply imagined it- I watched that episode in question [thank god for youtube]- that doesn't seem to be it! Thanks so much for your help, though!

That souds like "Through The Door" to me - one of my favourite episodes :smile:. I don't know if you can find the show online anywhere, but I'm pretty sure that's the one you're thinking of :smile:.

The entire series in on DVD. The MLP segments at least. The rest of the My Little Pony & Friends segments haven't seen a DVD release yet.

They don't put people like us in hell, we'd only end up running the place.
