The Revolt of Paradise Estate

I remember that this episode scared the hell out of me when I was a young child. For weeks after, I was terrified of the furniture in my home! Shortly after watching the episode, my parents were having the house painted and I was very frightened! I was so afraid that the furniture in the house would come to life as a result of the paint. All these years later, I watch this episode and think "wow! they let children watch this scary crap?!".

If I could remember... wasn't there also a My Little Pony episode with an evil chair that came to life, ate, and attacked everything? Or was this a different cartoon? Whether MLP or some other cartoon, I'd like to know what this episode was.
