Your most cherished Ocarina Of Time moment

We all agree that Ocarina Of Time was a huge part of our memories because of its pure amazement. Many remembered memories went into that game, and will follow us for a long time. What was your most cherished memory when playing Ocarina Of Time?

Mine would have to be when I was about to beat it for the first time. My dad and my brother knew how excited I was and how close I was to beating it. So on a Friday night, before I started fighting Ganondorf, my dad and my brother sat next to me to watch me beat it. It was like I had my own little audience. After watching the final cut scene and into the credits, I was in complete awe with how amazing the game was.

Probably the great feeling of relief after beating the water temple

And all will turn
To silver glass
A light on the water
Grey ships pass
Into the west

Gawd ya, that was a horrible time in my life, for sure. Dumb water...

Seeing Sheik for the first time because he was all up in your kool-aid and he still is my favorite character in video game history

reply

Sheik is a woman...incase no one saw this and replied to you already.

"The following is based on true events. Only the names, dates and locations have been changed."

Nopes, Shiek is physically a man

a change of clothes is hardly going to fool the evil king of darkness for 7 years...

Like strawberries and cream
It's the only way to be =P

The water temple was a bitch to get through...

Don't read this! Too late, your cursed...

Hearing the Lost Woods theme for the first time ever.

WHY SO SERIOUS?

The short cutscene that showed the name and subtitle of the boss GOHMA. It was so cinetamtic, and the music was so dramatic...I was just like WOAH!!

Striking the final blow on Ganon for the first time ever. I didn't have an audience, of course, but it was still amazing, finishing the game. Zelda games always have the most poignant endings.

You can't argue with my logic! Well, you can, but I won't listen!

the whole Desert porrtion of the game. Feels completely removed from the rest of the game, almost. The rest of the game has a medival Fantasy feel, but this part makes you feel like your in a western.

Arbiter's grounds in Twilight princess was similar in that it's tone was completely removed from the rest of the game, only it had an Ancient Egypt/Mummy vibe to it.

Don't look into the Death Star, or you will die.

Beating Gannon..
Beat the Water Temple
When Saria says good bye.
and yeah the GOHMA intro, it was really cinematic and prepared you for the next bosses and besides all that maybe Volvagia, the coolest evil dragon in a game..

I miss playing this game..
