I'm going with the ghost shop guy. You spend 20 mins to half an hour hunting down 10 ghosts, walking back and fourth to and from his shop, wishing you had a fourth bottle to hold more ghosts at a given time...
...and then the fking reward after you find them all and give them to him...is a BOTTLE!! A friggin BOTTLE??!!

From a storyline standpoint, I was quite upset about how much Hyrule fell into disarray when Ganondorf took over, so I will at little pissed off at him. I wasn't too fond of Mido either, given his attitude.
From a gameplay standpoint, the wandering running man was quite annoying. He is always one second faster than the protagonist, no matter what, and he talks smack. I wanted to kill him. Dark Link is somewhat annoying, as I've still not figured out how to defeat him using something other than the Biggoron's Sword or the Megaton Hammer.
