Bad Ending
I like the idea of the movie and thought the acting was spot on, however, the ending just seems thrown together. They built the movie with a solid foundation and the right side stories but then it was like as if they called it a day and just slapped on an ending. I wouldn't even call it an ending, I mean what happened to the employees at JT Marlin? What happened to Abbie? Chris? Seth? Harry?
They never explained how much the employees actually knew about the corruption either so it makes the fact that they are all going to be arrested a little uneasy. Yes, they were scumbags, but never did they hint that they were hiding something except for the main guy. There wasn't even that line in the movie you usually get like in Margin Call where they say something along the lines of "its kill or be killed" in terms of greed. Not even Ben Afflecks character hinted at corruption, he sounded like your typical stock broker with his speeches.
I thought it was a good movie up to the last 15 minutes when it felt rushed to end it, and it left me wanting more from the movie. I guess to me it wasn't so much of a bad ending as it was lacking an ending.
