Great story line, terrible cast

I thought the story was funny, but Martin Lawrence just screwed it up. I'm not saying he shouldn't have played the role as Miles, but his sudden screams and unnecessary dancing ruined the film. Luke Wilson and Dave Chappelle made this movie good, but I thought it could've done better with another actor playing the main role.

Martin does what he does best in this movie. If you'd ever seen any of his tv shows, you would understand. Who do you think should have played the main role?

New line for 2009? Get over it!

I disagree. I thought this film had a pretty good cast. I think it's the other way around. The script was weak, a lot of the dialogue was corny, and most of the entertainmnent came from Chappelle and Lawrence just screwing around.

I found "Blue Streak" to be a so-so movie, which was actually elevated to being fun by a pretty competent cast. The exception to this statement, I agree, however, was Martin Lawrence: he was typically annoying in the lead. "Who should have played Logan?"? Anyone talented, I suppose.

He really plays his character convincing, First he is a criminal and a heist goes badly, but he manages to hide his stolen diamond in a building under construction, with a neat trick to fool a fellow criminal.

Hm, the story was very lackluster, you always knew what would happen next and the the reasons why would have to continue being a cop got increasingly more contrieved.

I see why Lawrence' performance might look out of place at times, then again, that's what he does and why he was chosen as the lead. It was the only outstanding thing in this flick and therefore I think this was okay.

This movie kicked ass...and it sounds like it kicked your ass.
