What kind of camera does he have?
What camera is Mark using in the film? Is it the Super-8 mentioned from his teenage years?
it looks like an aton or something. probably 16mm.

The smaller one's a Bolex 16mm with a reflex viewer. The bigger one might also be the same thing, only with an attachment that allows it to use larger rolls of film instead of the regular 100 foot roles that the Bolex normally uses. The Bolex he had is a hand-cranked camera and only gives you about 30 seconds or so of shooting time. We are using these in my Production 2 class that I'm in this semester. Aside from the hand-cranked aspect, they are pretty fun to use. Older models can be found for a decent price, depending on where you look, although they cost a lot brand new.
