I've just been informed that Monica Borchardt, Mark's mom, has passed away though peacefully. She really cracked me up in this documentary and I know many prayers are going out to her family. I bet Mark will put a dedication to her in his next movie. RIP

Sad story. You got a smoke?
I'm writing to clear up this rumor. I'm a friend of Mark B. and have known him for a while now. His Mom, Monica, is still alive and well. She is not dead. She still has the same voice as you heard in the film. His Dad, Cliff, has passed away. I attended his funeral. At Cliff's funeral, Mark gave a very nice eulogy and shared a few nice stories about his Dad. But like I said, his Mom is still alive and well. Thank You!
