John Leguizamo

Was Perfectly cast as both of the Genies in this film!

He played the ring genie and the lamp genie with different enough personalities that you could think they were different people. Fantastic and funny xD

I was also delighted to see the Aladdin tale told in such a different way. The eastern setting instead of arabian setting was an interesting take on the story. Jason Scott Lee was great as Aladdin : )

Funnily enough, when Scheherazade was thinking of Aladdin and it kept switching actors, it got to one guy who made me think it would be him because he looked close to the Aladdin from the Disney movie but then she kept changing xD finally setting on Jason Scott Lee before continuing the story.

I rank it up there with Gullivers Travels (Ted Danson) as an amazing made for TV Miniseries event!

Its very similar in that its a series of tales being told that connect to the main story of the movie.

Mentor: "I saw Death once, it was at night on the market street, as close to me as you are to me now"
Scheherazade: "What happened"?!!
Mentor:"Ahhhhhh, you see? I got you hooked in just a few seconds of my story. You have to be able to entice the sultan with your stories just as quickly...if you hope to survive another night".
