I loved it when this movie was about hockey and called the Mighty Ducks. Keanu does good in bad movies cuz it makes him look better. This movie is maybe a 5-6 but on originality ill give it a 3...but i did vote it a 7 cuz diane lane is a hottie.

I agree with the "diane lane is a hottie" statement. Nonetheless, I feel that "Hardball" didn't showcase her ability to be a vixen. Accordingly, because of that, and the fact that the movie was offensive to minorities and was neither a kids movie or a sports movie despite its intention, I have to give it a slightly lower rating; I gave it a 3/10.

this movie is similar to but not quite
like The Mighty Ducks. okay there are
too many movies like this but to me
this one stands out. i'm not a baseball
fan so that can't be it. i like the story
idea. it's the opposite of The Rookie.
To me, a bad movie would have an incomplete
story without a sequel, or a confusing
storyline, or bad acting, or a bad story idea.
the rest of you critics probably have different
ideas as to what a bad movie is. i respect that
but you make it sound like you are looking for
every possible detail to make the movie sound
bad. overall i think it is a very good movie.
I just watched tgis movie and loved it and i agree Keanu's acting was believable, well done.

This is my favourite movie right now. It is truly an amazing film, it has everything!
Gangstas, Suspense, Baseball, Drama, EVERYTHING about it is good. The only thing wrong was when G-Baby Died, i dint want it to happen, quote 'it was just sum weak ass *beep* wen he was shot.
but anyways i loved this film!!!!

I love this movie too, I've seen it like a thousand times. I made my mom watch it last week, although reluctant at first, she loved it. I made me laugh and cry and it's just a great movie!!!!!!
