9 players played the final game but in the end ?

But seriously, that's an interesting point. I only recall 6 or 7 kids outside of Gbaby, not sure who is either missing from the photo or if they always had a couple extra's....


EDIT: Caught this on TNT... after the funeral when the kids are in the auditorium to tell Keanu they "want to play the last game" there are only 8 of them with Gbaby's brother there, ... then in the final game pre-speech I notice some random kid in their uniform with them in a close-up shot (tallish kid with no glasses... blends in)...

I think you caught a goof or that the team had 8 players / actors and the 9th player was an extra always.

OR... someone is missing from it that should be in it but it's done on purpose because they want to present it as "Gbaby is the 9th man" or something....

I think it's a goof though.
