While visiting MovieChat today this movie was first in the forums...followed buy Justin Long...then two spots down a move called Never Surrender.

No, this is common; one one topic is moved to the top of the chat often times related material also enters the discussion. Some posters even seemingly 'spam' multiple related topics with the same or similar original posts just to be the most recent discussion on multiple boards.
Justin Long is in Galaxy quest so when that is talked about someone might also comment on Justin Long (probably the "top 3 performances" chat is plaguing almost literally ever actors' discussion board). It is not that shocking and not a statistical anomaly; it is causality.
BTW; Galaxy Quest is one of my favorite all time films. Definitely in my top 25 list.
